Roz McMullan BDS FDS Dip Orth RCSE FICD

A retired Consultant Orthodontist, Roz is presently Chair of Probing Stress in Dentistry in Northern Ireland (NI) and is Immediate Past President of the British Dental Association. Whilst in post as a Consultant Orthodontist in NI she was involved in Trust governance, audit and appraisal. Roz was secretary to the Audit Committee of the BOS and chaired the Hospital Training Committee of the NI Deanery for nine years. Roz established "Probing Stress in Dentistry", which works to raise the awareness of mental well-being in the dental workforce in NI and to establish a network of mental health leads to support and signpost dental teams who are experiencing difficulty. She continues to work on wellbeing in dentistry and remains a member on the Education, Ethics and Dental Team Working Committee of the BDA. She is part of the collaboration which has developed the resource www.supportfordentalteams.org and is co-chair, with Fiona Elwood, of the Mental Health Dental Wellness Working Group.
