Sharon Walker
British Fluoridation Society (BFS) Executive Committee Member
Sharon has worked in dentistry for over 30 years, starting her career has a dental nurse working within General Dental Practice and then going onto work with the Community Dental Service leading the Oral Health Improvement Team. Sharon has had a varied career incorporating clinical, teaching and public health experience.
Sharon was proud to be the chair of the National Oral Health Promotion Group (NOHPG) from 2013 until 2016. She has developed a keen interest in dental public health and completed a masters in health and social care in 2020. She continues to be an active and passionate advocate for oral health and reducing inequalities within the Bradford and Airedale District and has recently become a BFS Executive member.
