Dr Kuldip S Gakhal BDS Dip Ortho FCGDent

Kuldip graduated from Guys Dental School, London in 1996 and then stayed on as a house officer at Guys Hospital working in the restorative and oral surgery departments for one year.

Having completed Dental Vocational Training in 1998, in Telford, Shropshire he stayed on working as a dental associate in a large mixed general practice. Kuldip completed the MFGDP in 1999 and having a keen interest in orthodontics started working part time in the Orthodontic Department in the local hospital in Telford as a clinical assistant and as a part time clinical assistant in an Orthodontic practice in Stoke for several years.

Kuldip completed the Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics at Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.

Kuldip bought his first dental practice in 2001 and has since developed the business to encompass a total of 5 dental practices, leading a workforce of 22 dentists and 52 auxiliary staff across the sites. His keen interest in Orthodontics since 1999 has anchored his position in his practices with brackets and Invisalign. He has been a Diamond provider for several years with his orthodontic team and treatment coordinators at his side with a fully digital workflow.

Kuldip has been a Foundation Dentist Trainer on the Telford Scheme since 2005, and is Dental Adviser working for NHS England, Midlands Team since 2011 supporting local practices and dentists.

Having completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and the Expert Witness Training with Cardiff University Law School, Kuldip has working as an Expert Witness for the GDC on fitness to practice cases and as Specialist Practice Adviser for CQC.
