This course based on a recorded webinar is the first in the CGDent 'Research and Critical Appraisal of Evidence' series of recorded webinars/courses.

This course provides an introduction into how to critically appraise a research paper. It looks at the major types of study design and the main biases that might affect it's validity. It also explains the need for critical appraisal of research evidence and introduce appraisal tools.

This course aims to provide an overview of how to critically appraise a research paper and explains the need for critical appraisal of research evidence and the use of appraisal tools.
