About This Course

We never want to find ourselves in a medical emergency situation - but it can happen.

Its really important to:

• Have the correct equipment available, and to hand and accessible
• Know how to use it correctly
• Having the correct equipment available (and knowing how to correctly use it) can significantly improve an emergency situation and the outcome

Not having it available, or using it incorrectly, can have a detrimental impact on the outcome. 

Aims

This course aims to help learners understand the medical emergencies equipment needed in a dental practice, both mandatory and recommended. An overview of the importance of having it to hand and accessible, the importance of knowing how to use it correctly, and the importance of a best practice quality assurance procedure, is given.

To give you an understanding of:

• The correct medical emergencies equipment that you should have available, to hand and accessible, in a dental practice.
• The importance of knowing how to use it correctly.
